JavaScript is not rendering in the Site Origin Editor

4 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 4 years ago

Hello, I have a code to follow up on some email and phone texts, within a text editor window. But when refreshing the page, the script part disappears. It should read something like this:

p style = “text-align: center;”> Email: [email protected]
Phone: 902 102 157

but when updating, it is deleted and it looks like this:
Email: [email protected]
Phone: 902 102 157

From Page Builder Framework support, told me that it seems that for security reasons JavaScript is not rendered in the SiteOrigin Editor.

Please, can yo see it?

Hi, thanks for reaching out. The Editor Widget mimics the regular classic TinyMCE in WordPress. Are you perhaps able to use the Custom HTML Widget instead? That’ll maintain your script tag.
