Hi,
I’m having a bit of an issue, and I can’t figure out what the problem is.
I’m using vantage theme on http://kunstgebit-reparatie.com/ and the ninja forms plugin is not rendering the forms on it, the collapsible fields plugin is also not working on it.
So it thought this might be a jquery issue.
Chrome displays this error:
jquery.theme-main.min.js?ver=1.6.2:1 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘left’ of undefined
n @ jquery.theme-main.min.js?ver=1.6.2:1
(anonymous function) @ jquery.theme-main.min.js?ver=1.6.2:1
n.extend.each @ jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2
n.fn.n.each @ jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2
(anonymous function) @ jquery.theme-main.min.js?ver=1.6.2:1
i @ jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2
j.fireWith @ jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2
n.extend.ready @ jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2
K @ jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2
My knowledge of javascript is not enough to make any kind of sense out of this. This site is a fresh install with the lates version of WordPress: 4.8
The Vantage theme is also the latest version: 1.6.2
I have created a child theme, for this site, the site itself lives in a folder, not in the root.
Is this a conflict with the jquery version that comes with wordpress 4.8?
Many thanks in advance!
Hi Erwin,
Unfortunately, I can’t seem to replicate this issue locally on a fresh WordPress install with Vantage. Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? Does this issue occur if only SiteOrgin Plugins and Vantage are active?
Hi Alex,
Thanks you for your help! I have a live link: http://kunstgebit-reparatie.com/
The error persists, even with all plugins deactivated, even the page builder and the black studio tiny mce. I’m using the same set up with Vantage and the same plugins on 5 other domains, without any issue. So somehow i doubt very much that the problem is actually in Vantage, but I have to start somewhere…
Hi Erwin,
Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look at your overall settings?

Hi Erwin,
Thanks. I’ve worked this issue out and it’ll be fixed in a future update – sorry about this. You have two options to resolve this issue until a proper fix is released:
Add the logo via theme settings.
Please navigate to WP AdminAppearanceCustomize, Site Identity and remove your logo. Please go up a menu and then Theme SettingsLogo and set your logo. How does that look?
Disable No Widget Overlay
Please navigate to WP AdminAppearanceCustomize, Theme SettingsLogo and untick No Widget Overlay.
Hi Alex,
Amazing! It indeed solved the colapsing boxes problem as well! I unticked the no widget overlap setting.
I am truly impressed by your support, many thanks for this!!
