Issues with Homepage

I am trying to modify my home page. Tried moving the menu order so that different page would serve as the Home Page. Trashed the Original but “Home” stays in the Menu. Says
” Nothing Found Ready to publish your first post? Get started here.”

Seems to have changed to a “Post”. I have gone to “posts” in dashboard and try to delete that but that does not work. Any help.

    Hi John

    The easiest way to manage your home page is from Appearance > Home Page. Turn that feature ON once you get there.

    Alternatively you can set a static home page from Settings > Reading. You don’t need to do this if you use the above feature.
