I run several sites and on uploading posts recently on three of them have the Amazon plugin “timing out” or reporting that I am running too many enquiries, whereas I have not.
This is frustrating and inexplicable until you look at the details of the plugin – not tested for this version of WP 5.1.1.
Amazon associates link builder people, please help.

If you have time, consider enabling
WP_DEBUG
andWP_DEBUG_LOG
, recreating the issue and then checking the log found in the/wp-content/
folder. More on doing that here: https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG.You could also check the JS console as the issue happens, more on that here: https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_Errors#Step_3:_Diagnosis.
If you can locate a specific error and take that to the authors, it’ll usually speed things up.
