issues linking to Yoast Seo

Hi There-
Before 2/2019 my blog posts worked perfectly using Site Origin Page Builder & Yoast SEO where I was considering upgrading to premium, but since then Yoast hasn’t been able to ready my blog posts properly using Site Origin Page Builder.

Contacted Yoast SEO and they said that the code is missing from the plugin.

This guide explains more and includes links to the code they need to have: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/is-the-plugin-compatible-with-xyz-visual-page-builder/.

Is it possible for an update?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Sereinyb,

I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues with Yoast picking up your content. Are you using the Classic Editor or the Block Editor? If you’re not too sure, that’s completely fine – please provide me with a link to your page and I’ll let you know which editor you’re using.

Would it be possible for you to send me an export of one of the pages that previously worked? This will allow us to run some tests against the page to work out why Yoast isn’t picking up on your post content. To export a page, please open up the linked page in the editor and click the Layout button in the Page Builder toolbar. Then click import/export and then click download. Please upload the export to a 3rd party file hosting site such as WeTransfer (no email is required).

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Sereinyb,

Unfortunately, our Yoast compatibility code isn’t currently compatible with the Block Editor. We’re working on a fix but in the meantime, you’ll need to use the Classic Editor if you would like for your text to be picked up by Yoast. I’m really sorry about this!

You can disable the Block Editor by installing the Classic Editor plugin. Unfortunately, SiteOrigin Page Builder isn’t able to automatically convert between the Block Editor and the Classic Editor (and vice-versa) so you should export your pages and then report them into the Classic Editor – that’ll prevent the need to rebuild the pages.
