Issue with layout

4 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 4 years ago

Hello,

On https://dccollege2021.wpengine.com/freshmen-admissions/ the functionality of your plugin is no longer working correctly. The layout within the backend of that page using your plugin is not layout out the way it should be on the live end. Would you happen to know what is causing this issue?

    Hi Anthony

    Thanks for getting in touch.

If possible, try seeking a working baseline. Temporarily deactivate all plugins not authored by SiteOrigin. In that state, does the issue resolve? If so, you’d have found a working baseline from which you can run further tests.

Alternatively, you can check for JS errors in the browser console when the issue occurs. https://wordpress.org/support/article/using-your-browser-to-diagnose-javascript-errors/#step-3-diagnosis. You can also enable PHP debugging to see if anything helpful is printing to the log file. https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-set-up-wordpress-error-logs-in-wp-config/.

    Hi Andrew,
Thank you for getting back to me. I actually correct the issue. It was with Ubermenu plugin and it is now sorted out. Thank you again for your response.

    Thank you,

Super, glad to hear you’re making progress.

You should be able to make use of UberMenu and Page Builder. We did some UberMenu config work in the past for Vantage and a few of our other themes. Would you like us to check whether there is a conflict between the two? Would you like to make use of UberMenu?

Thank you Andrew. We are currently still using Ubermenu for the site. The issue was with a custom shortcode that was implemented into Ubermenu by a previous developer. Once we added the correct coding this allowed us to use both plugins successfully on the website.

Thank you though for the great support. I love you plugin.

    Cheers for now.
