Issue with full width after update and go live issue

I have two issues!
1. We tried to go live two weeks ago and it killed all my site origin layouts. We have rebuilt most of them and need to go live again but arent sure how to do so without this happening again. I assume it happens when we update links to the domain name. Is there a known solution that always works?

2. We did an update and our headers are now all now full screen. I cant seem to find a style to update to fix although i did see a recent similar solution for someone else. http://50.87.249.137/~albemar9/life-at-albemarle/

THANK YOU!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Oogabooga,

    1. It sounds like you used a search and replace method that doesn’t support serialized data. Serialized data, if incorrectly edited, will become invalid. I recommend using Velvet Blues Update URLs to replace the URL or a migration method like Duplicator that natively supports serialized data.

    2. It looks like you’ve resolved this issue. Is this the case? If not, can you please send me an updated link?

    Thanks for the reply.

For 2, the issue was after the update it seems to wrap the content iwth different/more div tags or styles and it caused an overflow issue to break. Its not actually resolved i just put a temporary solution until i figure it out! The banner on pages like this: https://www.albemarleplantation.com/golf-club/ should flow under the orange box in the nav like they do on the home page https://www.albemarleplantation.com/

Otherwise, after figuring out the serialization issue and using those plugins on go live, everything works great!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Oogabooga,

On https://www.albemarleplantation.com/golf-club/, there is a seemingly random paragraph present which is causing the spacing. Do you have any idea what could be adding it?

If not, can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

Yes. I added the p tag as my temporary resolution. If i remove it everything gets aligned to the left which is the original problem that started after the update.

    Hi Oogabooga,

Ah, sorry about that. To clarify, does this issue occur locally for you? Based on the markup, it appears as though your theme isn’t playing well with the new flex based layout. Please navigate to WP AdminSettingPage Builder and open the Layout settings group. Set Use Legacy Layout Engine to Always.
