Issue with excerpts/meta description.

Hello.

The meta descriptions in my posts are not shown in the excerpts on the home page (shown below). It shows the first sentence of the articles instead, and sometimes this looks odd.

Is there a way around this?

    Hi Nicholas

    The Grid layout will use the Excerpt field if it’s been populated, so you could use manual excerpts here. If you can’t see the Excerpt field below the main Visual editor, click Screen Options top right and ensure Excerpt is checked.
