Issue with “Cumulative Layout Shift” in Google page speed tool

4 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 4 years ago

Hello,
I’m continuously seeing an error in the Google page speed tool for “Cumulative Layout Shift”. Is there anyway we can fix this issue? Looks like it’s an issue with the SiteOrigin page builder. Please advice.

Here’s the site URL https://k9uchicago.com/ and see this https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/8588699?key=790d667b55623788db5f0b26a92d88c2 screenshot for more clarification.

Thanks

    Hi Kausar

    Thanks for reaching out.

Page Builder offers full-width content in any theme using JavaScript, this functionality means that theme compatibility isn’t required. You can perhaps try editing each row and in the Layout section change Full Width Stretched to Full Width and see if that negatively impacts your design, it’ll depend on the content within the row. Assuming there is no design impact you can go from there.

We’re working on an advanced setting that’ll allow users with some technical background to switch over to CSS full-width rows. You can follow the progress of that here.
