Since I started using a SiteOrigin theme and plugins I have been amazed at how easy they have made creating a non-profit website.
Two days ago the website I am working on started developing issues with the SiteOrigin Editor, with the widget no longer being very responsive… as in I can no longer add content to or edit content in the widget.
I have gone through my plugins, and am not sure of the problem. None of them should conflict… all my active ones have very different functions, and I am able to use a regular wordpress text widget but as all my content was in SiteOrigin Editor… well it makes everything very inconvenient.
If I could get some assistance with this issue I would appreciate it.
WordPress version 4.4.2
Vantage theme
6 active plugins: Easy Payment, Loginizer, Meta Slider, Page Builder by SiteOrigin, SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle, and Social Media Feather. 4 more and installed but inactive.
Hi Kevin
Apologies for the long delay.
If you’re still battling with this challenge, please, could you run a quick plugin conflict test, it won’t take long. Temporarily deactivate all plugins except for SiteOrigin Page Builder and Widgets Bundle. Does the SO Editor still function badly? If the answer is yes then there isn’t a plugin conflict.
This is a private message.
Glad to hear you’ve found the conflicting plugin. Sorry to hear about the hassle. Hopefully, there is alternative option you can use to do the same job.
All the best with your site.
