Is there a way to change the button text Font?

Firstly, I LOVE siteorigin’s page builder. I am brand new to WordPress and I can’t believe the things I can do without using code that I thought were otherwise unavailable to me.

This sounds pedantic but when I labour over my glorious hero images, which have so many customisation options…. I’m always disappointed by the button at the end. Recently, I have been using wire images and foregoing the icons because they look stiff and out of place. I would like to have cool, dynamic buttons like I have seen on some sites (like with just an icon – not an icon inside a box) but I don’t seem to have any control over it. Text box with or without icon/text is my only option. Is there a way to make more interesting buttons? Also, the font of the text is out of place with the rest of my website font – I would really like to be able to customise it (not the size, or colour, the actual font type itself) Is there a way to do so?

    Thanks for your support.

    The Hero widget doesn’t yet have a setting for the button text font. You could do it yourself by following these steps:

    1. Edit the Hero widget, click Attributes in the right column, insert the following as your widget class:

    custom-hero

    2. Go to Appearance > Custom CSS and insert:

    .custom-hero .sow-hero-buttons {
	font-family: Arial, 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif;
}

    Change the font-family value as required. Here is a site to help with some of the common font stacks: http://www.cssfontstack.com/.

    If you don’t have Appearance > Custom CSS as a link, go to Plugins > Add New, search for SiteOrigin CSS, install and activate.

    If you’d like further help like removing the button border etc, please, send a link to the page concerned.
