Is SiteOrigin Tabs widget “optimized for Seo”?

Hi everyone,

I’ve read some articles stating that pages with tabbed content might negatively impact SEO. The issue is that the content within all tabs must be loaded at once (when page is loaded), for no SEO impact. So if the page loads only the content from the “dafault” tab when page is loaded, it would be (from search engine’s crawler perspective) as if the content from the remaining tabs do not exist.

So my question is: how is SiteOrigin’s tab widget implemented in this perspective? Should I care about hurting SEO on pages that use tabbed content using this widget?

Thank you in advance

Guilherme

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Guilhermefr,

All of the tab content is loaded in the initial page load, none of it is loaded during or as a result of a tab change. Does that make sense?

    Hi Alex,

Yes, that makes sense to me. Thank you!
