Just points to http://inquotationmarks.com (my sites root page)?
I would like to call this menu “Posts” and have it just point to my website root where the posts are.
Alternatively, I would really like to have images that are sent out from my site daily via RSS to point back to the root page re: http://inquotationmarks.com but looking around and trying things I have not found a way to do that.
Thanks
Mark
Hi Mark,
Yes. Please navigate to WP AdminAppearanceMenus and add your Home Page to your Menu (you may need to use a custom link).
I’m not 100% sure if this is possible. I would take a look at a few of the plugins on WordPress.org to see if this is possible – sorry mate.
Hi Alex, I’ve decided to simplify my request. I just want to add a “Home” menu item. Right now I have Logo, About Us, Gallery, Contact Us, Privacy Policy. But no Home option. I would like to add a Home page/menu option and have it do exactly what clicking on the logo does. Take you to the front page (I think that’s what it’s called). Doable?
Thanks
Mark
Hi Alex, well what a surprise. I was thinking this was going to be hard but when I went to WP Admin/Appearance/Menus and selected the Home menu item and dragged it into my menu structure, it had a custom URL defined for it that was hmmmmm, exactly my website! Either I sleep-code (a variation on sleep walking I am pretty sure I don’t engage in), you changed it for me or it was like that all? I’m not sure which. Either way, thank you SO SO much for the assistance. It’s perfect.
Mark
