Integrate WordPress Seo Breadcrumbs Into Vantage

Edit: This method is no longer required. We have introduced direct integration with Yoast SEO in a recent Vantage theme update. Please navigate to WP AdminAppearanceCustomize and then Theme SettingsNavigation. Enable the Breadcrumbs setting. Still can’t see them? Please navigate to WP Admin > SEO > Advanced and ensure that Breadcrumbs are enabled.

This thread is being left up for legacy reasons. Please note that we can’t really provide support for older versions of Vantage.

If you’d like to integrate WordPress SEO (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/) Breadcrumbs in the SiteOrigin Vantage theme, here is a child theme you can use:

Download the ZIP and install from AppearanceThemesAdd New and then click Upload Theme.

Child theme activation does mean re-doing your AppearanceMenu and AppearanceCustomizer settings so test the child theme before doing that work.

    hi Andrew, I am trying to get breadcrumbs working.

    I have the latest version of Vantage but I can’t locate Theme Settings or Navigation.

    Could you give me some advice,

    hi Andrew,
    I have the latest version of wp and vantage and when I try and find the settings to activate “breadcrumbs” or WP Admin “SEO” I cannot find either?
    As a needbie I am not sure how up todate this posting is

    This is a Yoast challenge.

    Go to SEOFeaturesAdvanced settings pages, enable that option.
    Then, go to SEOAdvanced and enable breadcrumbs under Breadcrumbs settings.
