Installed jQuery Migrate Helper Plugin- WorPress Dashboard not working

5 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 5 years ago

Hello,

I’ve been trying to get SiteOrigin Page Builder working since I updated WordPress to 5.5.1 (the editing tools/bubbles were no longer there) and I’ve been reading the forums on how to do so and came across installing the jQuery Migrate Helper Plugin to fix it and so I did.

But, now my dashboard looks really weird when I log into WordPress…like its all in text and I can’t access my settings. Installing jQuery corrected the face of my website, but has now messed up the back settings in WordPress. Don’t know if I’m making any sense.

Help! :)

    Hi Sandra

    Thanks for reaching out.

Try to establish a working baseline. Do the issues resolve if you temporarily switch to the Twenty Twenty theme and temporarily deactivate all plugins not authored by SiteOrigin? If you are able to establish a working baseline in this state you can reactivate your theme and then your plugins one by one, checking for the issues after each activation.
