inserted a background with vantage theme and it messed up storewide notice and my menu

I installed a background and it completely messed up my site. If i select full width it goes back to normal but when i select boxed layout my menu gets duplicated in the background and my store wide text doesn’t appear how do i go back to defualt background that came with theme and fix this any help would be greatly appreciated

    update it looks like a div inside a div is create menu under the scrolling menu but still don’t know how to fix this

    Sorry to hear about the hassle. If you added this background via Appearance > Background or Appearance > Customize then nothing should have been broken. My suggestion in this case would be to temporarily de-activate all non-SiteOrigin plugins and re-test the problem.

    I’m not quite with you when you say it looks like a div inside a div under the scrolling menu. Which page is this visible on?

    the div inside a div was viewed using the inspect element on the homepage with google however i figured out what was causing it was when my store wide notification from wpfront otification bar when it expired. i think it may be conflicting with my css code however it i leave it activated but just take out the wording so it doesn’t show a banner with words it just ends looking like part of the cosmetics and fixes the menu bar.
