Insert code for SSL into my footer

Hi guys, having a go at this for the first time and despite hours of looking, have been unable to find where I can edit the footer to be able to insert the code for my SSL image. Point me in the right direction? Thanks!

    You could try a plugin like this:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/header-and-footer-scripts/

    I haven’t tested that particular plugin yet. If you search on the directory for “footer scripts” you’ll see there a few others. Perhaps give it a go and see how things go.
