Influence theme: Text in slider possible?

Hello,
Simple question: can I add text to slides in the “Home slider” in the Influence theme (free version)?

    Thanks for your interest.

    Influence and Influence Plus are both free so upgrade when you have a moment. Info on upgrading: https://siteorigin.com/influence-documentation/getting-started/upgrading-influence-plus/.

    For text you’d need to use another plugin. The slider settings page can accept a shortcode so you could create a slider with say Meta Slider free: http://www.metaslider.com/ and then insert that shortcode into the settings page.
