Increase font size and change position of header (top) menu on home page in Vantage

Hi,
I’ve been trying to increase the font size of the menu on my home page ( at the very top) as well as lower it a hair but can’t seem to do it! When I’m messing with it in my admin it looks alright but once I save it and look at it
“live” it’s still not quite right….grrrr….it’s still too small and needs to be a smidge lower.
Do I need a CSS code of some sort?
So many things still not quite right and it’s frustrating, but eventually I’ll get it!
This is all foreign language to me so please forgive me if my question is unclear.

    Oh! I just discovered I can place the menu beneath the name of my site–looks better this way so please ignore my question and thanks! :)
