Incorrect link

5 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 5 years ago

3rd issue today that I keep having to find a work around after spending hours sifting through these forums.
A simple link to another page within my website and no matter what I do, it keep going to the incorrect page. The hover link is correct.

    Hi Daniel

    Thanks for posting.

    Please, send a public link and let me know which item on the page to check.

    Hi
    Sorry if I came across badly, was late and I was tired.
    Initial page is;

    https://taekwondo-canberra.com.au/black-belt-1st-degree-course/

    If you hover on the “Kwang Gae” link you see;

    “https://taekwondo-canberra.com.au/kwang-gae/”

    These pages are both public access now. Instead of going to the ‘Kwang Gae’ page, it goes to;

    “https://taekwondo-canberra.com.au/members-account/black-belt-club/”

    which actually doesn’t exist anymore and the page visible is actually

    “https://taekwondo-canberra.com.au/members-account/”

    I have made this public as well for your perusal.

    No worries, I understand.

    From our side, SiteOrigin is outputting the HTML as requested:

    <a href="https://taekwondo-canberra.com.au/kwang-gae/"><strong><span style="font-size: 36pt;">Kwang Gae</span></strong></a>

    Redirects can be done from outside of WordPress but most likely this is a redirect related to a plugin. To start the troubleshooting process, temporarily deactivate all plugins except for those authored by SiteOrigin and retest the issue. Does the issue resolve in that state? Once you’ve found a working baseline you can begin reactivating your plugins one by one and hopefully find the plugin responsible for the redirect.

    Most likely it’s related to your membership plugin.
