Hello there,
Installed the page builder Siteorgin plugin, unable to make edits, or update corrections save.Upgraded the wordpress version from 5.3 to 7.2 and still no success. Flushed the cache, refreshed the browser  with no success. I deactivated the plugin website changes work. Whats missing to make the plugin work? Is the classic editor the only plugin that works with wordpress 7.2 or is there a workaround?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Ashley

Please, try temporarily deactivating all plugins not authored by SiteOrigin, does the issue persist in this state? If so, please, take a screenshot, upload it to imgur.com and send us the link.

  2. Hello Andrew,
The Site Origin plugin is working on the staging site of wordpress 7.2 without enabling the other plugins, once I re-install these other plugins are you suggesting that this will resolve this issue moving forward before
I decide to upgrade to the premium version, otherwise whats the point of upgrading if the basic version is workaround solution,
am I understanding this correctly ?

  3. p.s Also, if it works on the staging site shouldn't it work just the same on the production site as well?

    Hi Ashley

If you’ve established a working baseline with all non-SiteOrigin plugins deactivated you can then begin to test and hopefully, locate the conflicting plugin/s. Please, find the full instructions below.

This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

Let us know how that goes.
