Images used instead icon builtin are blurry

Hi every body,

I want to use my own icon in PNG format but when I load the page it appears blurry. I select the exact size than the original icon but it still blurry.

Some one have an idea why?

Thanks so lot for your help.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Alain

Are you referring to your icons here: http://www.techni-reseaux.fr/. The ones with the blue background? They look good on my side.

You could perhaps install our Widget Bundle: http://wordpress.org/plugins/so-widgets-bundle/. Insert a Features Widget on a demo page on your site and test that out. It’s basically an evolved Circle Icon widget. Just an idea.

    Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your replay. Icons are still blurry on my side. Please, could you try to compare one icon on the home page of website and the same image where the icon get it?

The first icon named “interphone” and compare it with the image “http://www.techni-reseaux.fr/images/interphone_icon.png. I use PNG file format for icons.

Let me know if you see quality differences between them.

I get and install your Widget Bundle and test it.

    Thanks for your support.

    Regards,

    Alain

    Hi, I Work Here

I can see what the problem is here. What I’d recommend doing is using the Features Widget in the Widget Bundle. That way you can set your widget to be 90px by 90px. That will solve one problem. To solve the other problem…in the Features Widget just set the background color to the same as the page color.

    Hope that helps.

If you want to stick with the Circle Icon widget you’ll need to re-size your images to 81px x 81px and set the circle background color to the same color as the page.
