Hi,
I’m using the Islemag theme (v 1.0.11) to create an online magazine. Each category denotes a particular section of the magazine, and each category page lists every article tagged with that category.
The featured image for each article is reflected on the category page, but for some reason they are appearing as different sizes. Here are two examples:

Ideally, I would like the images to display as in the second one (Black Panther), without the grey margins on either side. I’m building my posts using the Page Builder by SiteOrigin plugin (v 2.4.9) and the SiteOrigin widgets bundle v 1.6.1), and have made my articles almost identical across the board. The featured images are all 770 px x 430 px and, in theory, shouldn’t be displaying differently. Currently, the Black Panther article is the only one displaying properly. I can’t figure out why the others are different.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :)
Josh
Hi Josh,
This seems to be more of an issue with how your theme handles featured images. I can take a look (I’ll need to see the markup – do you have a public link?) but your best bet at correcting this would be to contact your theme developers, and to adjust your post thumbnail sizing (WP AdminSettingsMedia, and once adjusted regenerate thumbnails). Sorry mate. :(
Hi Alex,
Not to worry! I did just that and they were very helpful.
I should close this thread now.
Thanks :)
Josh
