Image to open in a new tab, not a new window

1 year ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 1 year ago

I’ve put some logos in Page Builder and would like the links to open in a new tab, not a new window (or the same window).
Can’t find anywhere where I could put this command..?

Thanks for help in advance!

Hi, thanks for posting your question.

It looks like you’ve made progress.

If you’re using the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle you could consider switching to the SiteOrigin Image Widget, which has many options including an Open in new window checkbox.

    Hi
I am using the SiteOrigign Image widget already, but I didn’t think to look under edit. Now found it, thanks!

Super, glad to hear you’re making progress. For interest’s sake, the setting is shown in the screenshot below. The WordPress core has a widget called Image. The SiteOrigin widget is called SiteOrigin Image. Either is fine to use.

Found the “open in a new tab” under Edit in SiteOrigin Image, works just as I need it to Thanks so much for your help!

Thanks. If you check the image above, you’ll see our setting isn’t under Edit; it sounds like the WordPress core Image Widget you might be using. Either can be inserted.

Hmm.. True. It has to be the WP Image then.
Well, as long as I got it to work :)
Will know for future reference both are okay to use-

That’s it! The choice is yours.

    All the best.
