Image slider and hero slider do not appear on the site

I’m building my first site using page builder, and everything has worked like a charm, except now the image slider and hero slider. For some reason they’re not displayed on the site. By checking the code, I found that they’re inserted to the page, with pictures and all, but one of the divs, which has class “sow-slider-base ” has been set to display:none. I haven’t written this, and I disabled all the other plugins, so that they wouldn’t interfere, and the theme I’m using (twenty thirteen) should not interfere with it either. Is there a way to start debugging this? Private Snippet Thank you for your help in advance!

<div class="so-panel widget widget_sow-slider" id="panel-50-0-0-1" data-index="1">
    <div class="so-widget-sow-slider so-widget-sow-slider-default-abf3e628296a">
        <div class="sow-slider-base " style="display: none">

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Tuomastt,

    For whatever reason, none of the SiteOrigin JavaScript is outputting. As such this is likely a plugin conflict. I know you’ve run a form of a plugin conflict test but please run this entire test regardless.

    Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

    If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

    Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

    You can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related. Please do not use a child theme.

    Hi Alex!

    Thank you for your help! The problem indeed seems to be that I’ve been using a child theme for the twenty thirteen, as switching back to the original theme made the sliders work. So is it impossible to use a child theme with the Page Builder? I’ve made a lot of changes to the original theme’s styles, and I think using a child theme is the right way to implement those changes.

    I don’t know what in the child theme is conflicting with the Page Builder, as I tested that the problem is neither with the css files nor with the js files I’ve used in the child theme.

    I also disabled all the other plugins just in case, so the test page is now without plugins, but that didn’t affect the outcome, only changing back from child theme fixed it.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Tuomastt,

    No that’s not the case – child themes do work with SiteOrigin Page Builder. I’m not sure what but there’s something in that child theme that is preventing SiteOrigin Page Builder from working correctly. Did you make any PHP adjustments via the child theme?

    Hi Alex!

    Thank you for pointing me to the culprit! It was on the child theme’s custom footer, the wp_footer() function had been commented out, so the SiteOrigin javascript code located on the footer was not being loaded. Sorry for taking your time on such a silly mistake, but I appreciate your help very much!
