Image paths get slashes stripped when on a mapped domain

7 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 7 years ago

Please note that this is not an htaccess issue and I’ve already gone through the usual plugin conflict checks (not a rookie).

We have several network sites but 2 in specific are having this issue:

If we access the site via network subfolder everything works fine. i.e http://azeucwpweb1d.azurewebsites.net/mps yet if we access the site with the mapped domain i.e somedomain.com the images inside content blocks from site origin get their slashes stripped for example //azeucwpweb1d.azurewebsites.net/mps/wp-content/uploads/sites/30/2017/05/satelite.png becomes mps.rsmas.miami.eduwp-contentuploadssites30201705satelite.png

any direction would be greatly appreciated

    Hi Wjattin,

That’s odd. Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at an example of this? Also, would it be possible for you to send me an export for the provided example? To do this please open up the linked page in the editor and click the Layout button in the Page Builder toolbar. Then click import/export and then click download. Please upload the export to a 3rd party file hosting site such as WeTransfer (no email is required).
