Hello
I’m new to to Page Builder. I was snooping around and opened a widget to take a look at how it works. I had my look and closed without saving anything and the background image in the widget disappeared. I tried to add it back through custom image box -> upload image -> click ‘done’ -> update page. No luck. It won’t update at all and now there’s a blank space where it used to be – in fact two blank spaces because I opened another widget to compare settings and BAM! that’s gone too! I feel sure that it’s something simple. Website is http://blingblingcostumes.com.au/ You’ll see the issue on the front page.
Not sure what information to provide other than this. Please let me know what more you need. Any help much appreciated.
Andrew
Hi Andrew,
To clarify, where was the background image previously on the page?
Try re-adding the background image to the row by clicking the wrench icon above relevant row and then heading over to the row styles sidebar. Then open the Theme Settings group (if the theme settings group isn’t present, open the design settings group) and input / select the image, then save. Try reopening the widget and then saving to see if the background is again removed. This way we’ll rule it out as being a one off (per background) issue with the image disappearing.
Hi Andrew,
Oh, sorry! I misread your post and thought you were talking about a row.
To set a widget background please open up the widget editor and head over to the widget styles sidebar. Open the Design settings group and set a background image.
