I have built a site in fotosuite.com that has a custom home page with a side bar and a blog loop. I am trying to build the exact same page in http://bestofbridge.staging.wpengine.com. In http://bestofbridge.staging.wpengine.com, if I make a custom page then the sidebar doesn’t show up and when I turn on default template to view sidebar the images in the blog loop don’t show up. I need both and don’t know why it works in fotosuite.com and not http://bestofbridge.staging.wpengine.com. The feature images are loaded so that is not the problem. Please let me know a solution.

Have you set a template with that custom page? Setting anything remove the sidebar as all of the templates are full width (by design). Please refer to the below image for what to look for on the edit page.
