Hi Guys,
I have had to build an Image Gallery using Thumbnail Images and then when their customer clicks on that image a small PopUp Page will load over the Thumbnail Gallery with the LArger Image and the Description the the content.
I cannot grasp how to do this in WordPress and can find no Plugins.
I hope that you gurus will be able to help me.

I think the best solution would be to use a plugin like this
https://wordpress.org/plugins/responsive-lightbox/
This plugin will do what you want and it gives you the option to use whatever image size you want for the gallery page.

I will take a better look at it tomorrow, however it still does not look like what I need.
Andrew, I think it would be in html.
The old site that they had I did it in Dreamweaver whereby it was a simple onclick PopUp page appears.
I do not want it to be a Sliding carousel etc.
If you have any other suggestions I would appreciate them.

Give the plugin from Magus a try first.
The one I suggested does fire up a lightbox, once there it lets you click left and right through the rest of the gallery. That makes usability sense. It’s better than closing the lightbox, clicking on another image and the lightbox opening again. However Carousel only works for galleries. Responsive Lightbox, the plugin Magus has suggested is more flexible.
So yeah, take a look, check out each plugins page, take a look at the screenshots etc. and we can take it from there.
This is a pretty popular area of WordPress (lightboxes etc.) so I’m sure we can find something that’ll fit your requirements.

I will try that first as you suggested. I have also tried a lot of plugins but none of them did what I wanted.
The site I am talking about is a Palm Nursery.
So, on the Thumbnail page someone may click on an image say, Alexandra, once they do that a Larger image is shown and all the description of the palm ie:
Common Name: Alexandra
Scientific Name: archontopheonix alexandrae
Origin: Queensland
Height: 25 m
Low Surv Temp: -3.9c
Sun: Yes
Shade: Yes
Indoors: Yes
Outdoors: Yes
Description: Also known as king palm.Wonderful and fast growing palm with feather shaped leaves that are green above and silvery white below. Needs bright light, rich and moist soil and likes plenty of water. Makes excellent house plant if the light is bright.
So, a sliding gallery will be no good.

Ok, I’m with you now. You could try putting the information you need in the caption field of the image. I seem to remember that field might accept HTML.
