I’m haven’t been able to updatePage SiteOrigin Builder. I keep getting ‘Update Failed: Connection lost or the server is busy. Please try again later.’
My website has been like this for weeks now, Please help!
This is not an issue with WordPress because I am able to update other plugins easily. I even tried to change the permission but it doesn’t work too. Tried deleting and then reinstalling, the file would not even delete. What could possibly be the problem?

Unfortunately, we’re not too sure why this is happening. To clarify, the SiteOrigin Page Builder plugins are hosted on WordPress.org also so if you’re able to update other plugins you shouldn’t have any issues updating SiteOrigin Page Builder.
Let’s try removing the plugin files and then a reinstall. Please do a backup. Then please connect to your website via FTP and navigate to your WordPress directory. Go to wp-content/plugins and delete the siteorigin-panels directory. Open your website and navigate to WP Admin > Plugins > Add New and do a search for Page Builder by SiteOrigin. Click Install and then activate. How does that look?
If you need help with using FTP, I would get in contact with your hosting provider.
If not, please restore the backup.
