Id of masthead widget changes every time I edit it

I have created a widget in the masthead using Layout Builder. I have edited some of the CSS relating to the elements there (spacing, borders, widths) in Custom CSS.

However every time I edit the contents of that widget via Open Builder, the ID of the style changes. So I have to go into the code in the front-end to find out what the new ID is (e.g. id=”pgc-w60e4680407596-0-0″ or id=”panel-w60e4680407596-0-0-1″ depending on which part of the Layout Builder I’ve edited) and then copy and paste that id into my Custom CSS so that my css customisations remain in effect.

Why does it keep changing the ID every time I edit the widget? And is there any way to prevent this happening?

Thanks!
