Icons not showing – just small squares.

It has been a while since I took a look at my fathers local business website. I happened to notice one day that icons were not displaying and I thought this was an update issue.

I have since run the updates required in the WordPress back end but unfortunately the icons still do not appear. These are for elements:
Home menu “Home”
About Us “Info”
Our Services “Gears”
Our Projects “Home”
Search “Magnifying Glass”
Facebook
Google+

I am not a big coder, only know how to set up a website in WordPress so can’t really determine what is fundamentally wrong.

Any ideas?

    I believe I have sorted this. There was a discrepancy between the WordPress Address and Site Address.

    Is everyone seeing the correct icons?
