icons are not working since migration

I have an old crappy website that I am trying to revamp as an interim solution to a rebuild – we however just migrated to a new hosting system and the icons don’t appear to be working (everything else is fine). so i have these blank boxes all over my site where an icon would have been. I was recommended to delete and reinstall the page builder but I am afraid all the formatting I have done in page builder will just revert to html and for a nube like me it will be a lot harder to make changes in the future where as the page builder is so clean and easy to maintain / edit.

Is there a way to get my icons back?

    Hi Kristine

    Thanks for posting.

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?

Thanks. Head over to SettingsGeneral and ensure your WordPress and Site URL’s are correct. Certain assets will get blocked by browsers if assets are loaded across domains.

    Hi Andrew,

they both appear to be correct – if I remove the plugin and reinstall it will it remove the formatting of the pages that I built with he plus in… as in will it revert to all text on the back end?

    Hi Kristine

You can deactivate, delete and re-install any SiteOrigin plugins without data loss. That said, it doesn’t hurt to create a restore point if you have that functionality available.

The issue is that your website is at http://wellpark.ac.nz/ but the site is attempting to load assets from http://wellpark.co.nz/. ac vs co. That triggers a cross-domain issue in the web browser causing the assets to be blocked.
