Hello,
I am trying to add the icon named “map-signs” to a page so it will appear in my menu, in front of one of the menu items (named Toolkit). It is not avalailable in the list though. I allready installed the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle.
Hope someone can help me!
Hi Jantien
Thanks for reaching out.
Unfortunately, it looks like we’re running a version of Font Awesome that doesn’t contain the icon in question. Font Awesome add new icons as they update.
Try using https://wordpress.org/plugins/menu-icons/ instead. It’s a useful plugin that has several icon libraries to choose from, will work no matter the theme activated and will let you hide the label, set icons for custom links and set styling options like icon size and padding etc.
Thanks Andrew!
I see that this plugin also uses the Font Awesome icons, so hopefully this plugin will use the new updates of the icons.
Thanks for your fast reply and solution.

I’m sure it will, the last update to the plugin was 6 days ago.
All the best :)
