Unable to delete widgets

So…I added a new home page background to my daughter’s site with custom css and deleted all of the rows and widgets in page builder to see a clean screen with just the background, BUT, two of the widgets are stuck on the home page! I took a look in Fire Bug which seems to indicate the widgets are still present….but they are not. All that is present on my Appearance > Home Page is the box to begin to add rows and widgets that is always present when you first begin. I even disabled the plugin responsible for the post widget and uninstalled and reinstalled page builder. No luck. Have you ever seen anything like it?? :) I have no idea how to get rid of the artifact. It’s actually pretty funny… Any advice?

    Thanks for reaching out. Head over to Pages > Home, ensure you’re on the regular Visual tab. Select all content and delete. Should do the trick.
