I’ve been using the plugins to make my site (Vantage theme) look good (I have practically no coding experience and I’m working on a shoestring budget) and I can’t find a way to use the plugins to fix up the header on mobile. I have a few questions and would be so grateful to anyone who could help!
1. I managed to get rid of the word “Menu” and put a hamburger menu in its place, but the icon looks squashed down and I can’t figure out how to bring it back to its normal proportions. I’d also like to make it a little bigger.
2. The site logo takes up the whole width of the screen – I’d like to make it smaller so that I could put the menu icon next to it (and so have the whole header take up less of the screen).
Thanks in advance for any answers!
Hi Danit,
Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at your setup?
Yes! Sorry, I’m new to this. It’s brit-hazon.org
Hi Danit,
You can change this with some custom CSS. If you navigate to AppearanceCustom CSS, you’ll get our custom CSS editor. Add the following CSS:
Increase the height and width.
You might also need to install the SiteOrigin CSS Editor.
Thanks so much! It did exactly what I wanted for the logo!
Do you have advice for making the menu icon a normal size also?
