Hello,
First of all, thank you for your time and attention to my challenge. I have tried searching the forum for a similar problem and resolution all morning, but have not been able to find it.
Here is what I’m using:
Apple Macbook Pro OS X 10.9.5
Safari Browser 7.1
Wordpress 4.0 (Benny)
Origami Premium Theme
Page Builder Plug In 1.5.3
Here is what I’m trying to do:
I am using a two column row with the Page Builder widgets “Text” and “Gallery” for post entries on my “Event Blog” page. Once I write the copy into the text widget and click “Done,” I switch to editor view and use either the visual editor or text editor to embed a link to text. In this case, I am trying to embed a hyperlink to another vendors website (http://www.shakeportraits.com) on their company name (Shake Portraits).
Here is the problem behavior:
Once I add the link, I do see it change color and underline in the editor and the link does work from the editor window (by using right click menu).
– If I click “Preview Changes” the link will not be active on the preview browser page that opens up. Of course, it does remain “linked” in the editor pane.
It was a pleasure to work alongside some amazing Hillsborough County professionals such as August from Shake Portraits to help make this wedding day everything Brittany and Jesse had dreamed it would be.
– When I click “Update” to publish the page and the Edit Post page refreshes, the link will not be active on the published website page and it will also disappear from the text in the editor.
To see if it was related to the plug in or a general WordPress problem, I disabled the Page Builder plugin and tried inserting the link and it did work. Please advice, thanks!
Here is the html as seen after I add the link to the text:

Hi aroque
Thanks for your support.
It’s not possible to use the Visual or Text editors to edit Page Builder content. Page Builder content can only be edited from within Page Builder. The same goes for content added to the Visual/Text tabs. It’s one or the other.
Install this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/black-studio-tinymce-widget/ and add a widget called Visual Editor to Page Builder to edit text and add links as you normally would.
Hope that helps.
Andrew,
Thanks so much for clearing this up for me. I will install the plugin and carry on. Much appreciated!!
Super, glad we could help. All the best.
