Neither work properly in that element. Short Code works in Text/Html element though.
How about a simple short code for each template? I’d even be happy with simple CSS coding to input the template into the child theme ‘theme’ appearance options. Just, something to keep me from having to recreate the wheel (so to speak)
Huge It Slider and Meta Slider in Hero

Hi S.Keoni,
I’m confused. Why would you directly include either of those shortcodes in the hero widget? The hero widget is basically just a slider with a focus on the text. So it’s a tad odd to include a slider within a slider.
With that said, have you tried using the Meta Slider shortcode? I’m not having any issues including the Meta Slider inside of a hero widget with the use of that shortcode.
I cannot comment on the Huge it Slider at this time due to lack of experience.
The application was not recognizing any images. Short code, png, jpg, gif,
etc.
Hi S.Keoni,
I’m going to need you to clarify. What application? The hero widget? If that’s the case, it’s possible it could be a plugin conflict. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
If that’s not the case, could you please elaborate on what you mean?
