https://texasnativeprivatetours.com/wp-admin/post.php

Just started happening that when I go to preview changes in page which is home (wordpress theme weaver xtreme plus) I get a blank white page with https://texasnativeprivatetours.com/wp-admin/post.php or a fetal error message. When I deactivate the plugin the preview works. How can I fix this problem? All other pages show up in preview just fine.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Jeannie,

To clarify, what is the fatal error message?

Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

It’s the page builder plug-in. Deactivated all and preview worked fine till I activated page builder. Have used page builder in weaver xtreme all over the place and don’t have this issue. Fatal error hasn’t raised its ugly head again but it will. Could you help me out here because page builder is awesome and is working fine on the other sites I work on.
    Confused.

OK think I have a grip on this. Plug-in Header and Footer Script Insert-er By a Author G. (Not mentioning last name) has partnered up with something called Space X Chimp – HUGH MISTAKE! Got rid of plug-in and anything that has to do with this – used Metadata that was already available to me in theme. All of a sudden preview works! Love page builder and siteorigin and will get rid of ANY plug-in that doesn’t play in the sandbox well with the others. Thank you Alex for direction on this.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Jeannie,

Hold up – the provided fatal error message is actually a sign of you reaching the memory limit. It’s not specifically the fault of any plugin and is more of an issue of lack of resources allocated to WordPress. You need to apply a pretty hands-on fix to resolve this issue. This article would be a good read as it’ll outline how to change it. You’ll need to edit wp-config.php. If you’re unfamiliar with FTP, I would recommend asking your hosting provider for help with editing this file.

Disabling that other plugin may have resolved the issue, but it’s purely temporary as that plugin was purely the straw that broke the camels back.

Have followed your instructions and host is allocating more memory. Word Fence has left behind some residue and this will bypass or stop it’s behavior also. It was not recommended to try and delete Word Fence from the server side as it can have unpredictable results. So, lack of resources allocated to WordPress is being resolved. Thank you for the great information and advise.
