Hello,
I’m using the SiteOrigin Page Builder with the Widgets Bundle in a Wordpres 4.5 blog. When I try to upload an image inside a page, a post or in the media library I get an HTTP Error. The only way to get the images uploded is by disabling the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle.
I noticed that the last version of the Widgets Bundle is not already tested with the last version of WordPress, but is there any workaround to solve this problem without disabling the plugin?
Thanks!
Hi Xavier,
We’ve tested extensively and resolved any issues we saw with SiteOrigin Page Builder, and the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle. With that said, we’re unable to test every single configuration so it’s possible an issue might arise. From what you’ve described this sounds more like a plugin conflict than a general plugin issue. This is confirmed by the lack (read: you’re the first) of reports about this issue. Please try the following plugin conflict test.
Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
