Html editor reverting to visual editor after saving or not saving content.

Hi!

I’ve been using Siteorigin Page Builder + Widgets Bundles for more than a year and with the latest updates I’ve found what seems to be a bug.

I always use the html editor instead of the visual editor. Lately I’ve found that if I save content in html it reverts automatically to visual editor. I changed user preferences in wordpress to use only html editor and now everytime I save, content dissapears. If I try to edit it again, a warning modal is shown informing that “there is a new version of the content of this widget” Restore or Delete

If I click restore and the save the content it happens again.

I’m using a fresh install of wordpress + generatepress template (no plugins apart from Siteorigin Page Builder + Widgets Bundle). I used Chrome and Firefox with the same results.

Any ideas why is this happening?

    Hi Daniel,

    Thanks for letting us know about this. I’ve logged this as a bug in our issue tracker. Sorry about this!
    I would recommend using the Custom HTML widget in the meantime to bypass this issue.
