How to update the content via Database?

8 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 8 years ago

Hi!

I have around 200 posts are built with Page Builder, but I need to change one layout

"row_stretch":"(full)",
to
"row_stretch":"(full-stretched)",
in these 200 post.

I have tried to export the database and replace the string, but nothing changed after I updated the columns in database.

I wonder if the content save in the WordPress backend is the same one I found in database? Or is there anyway to update the layout in batch?

Thank you!
Atelier

    Hi Atelier,

    This is not something we recommend doing because if this is done incorrectly, it could easily break your page builder data.
    Your best bet to do this correctly would be to use a plugin that can handle serialized data – something like Better Search and Replace. Please note that we’re unable to assist you if this breaks your page builder data.

    Outside of this, this is beyond the scope of what we can help you with on our forums, but you could hire a developer to assist you with this.

    We recommend using Codeable. You’ll be able to hire someone at an hourly rate to do this work for you.
