How to set up WP Pagenavi on Origami Paper

Hi, I have a website running Origami Paper. I tried to set up WP Pagenavi in order to get a cuter page navigation, but so far I haven’t been able to get it running. The plugin developer wants me to replace a certain code snippet:

WP-PageNavi

but unfortunately does not specify which file I’m supposed to edit. I searched all the files in both Origami and Origami Paper without finding anything. Would you please tell me how I get this running?

I saw in the forum that you created a child theme wchich has Wp Pagenavi built in, but I don’t have access to this without a premium account. So, I would really appreciate your help.
