    Hi Romain,

WordPress, and by extension, the SIteOrigin Hero widget isn’t compatible with the SIteOrigin Hero widget. You’ll need to install a plugin that adds webp support for WordPress. A popular option is WebP Express.

    Kind regards,
    Alex

    Hi Alex,

I’m already using Imagify to do that. All images are served in webp but not when using your hero image widget.
    Any Idea ?

    Hi Romain,

I’ve had a look at the documentation of the Imagify plugin and the base method it uses to replace images doesn’t appear to be able to override background image urls – which is what the SiteOrigin Hero widget uses. Are you using the picture replacement method or the .htacess replacement method? if the former, please try the .htaccess method.

    Kind regards,
    Alex
