How to Save Different Backgrounds on Different Pages

10 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 10 years ago

Hey guys. I want to have a different page background for my content area on a few different pages.
For example, checkerboard on one page, stripes on another page and circle on a third.

I already have the graphics (by the way-what is the best size to use?) and just want each page to show with different page backgrounds.

How is this done?

Thanks,
Cliff

    Hi Cliff

A plugin solution is only possible if you’re using the Vantage boxed layout. The boxed layout enables the regular WordPress Custom Background feature which the following plugin leverages:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-background-extended/

The full width Vantage layout does have a background image option in the Theme Design > Page section of the Customizer. However, it’s more targeted at images like textures as the image will be behind the content.

Sorry we don’t have more on this. Hopefully this helps explain the options and limitations at the moment.
