how to remove margin gap between header and slider

Hi, I have approx 120 pixel gap sprung up between the top header menu row, and the next element underneath called Smart Slider.
I used to have Tesseract theme and changed it to Astra due to tesseract retiring, and developing fatal error and now uneditable under customisations tab. The change of theme luckily retained all the SiteOrigin page builder settings, which meant I didnt have to rebuild the home page again using elementor.

Current Page Builder by SiteOrigin version 2.30
Latest Astra theme installed today.

Everything in my site is fine except for figuring out how to remove that ugly empty space which you can see on staging:
https://www.staging3.hilarycarlile.co.nz and the main site I am replacing is still old version at: https://www.hilarycarlile.co.nz, but by comparing the two, you will see the old site did not have a problem with a gap.
So do I edit in the new astra customisation tab, for header builder to remove the bottom margin, or edit in the home page, where the siteorigin page builder allows editing of the row that I have put the slider?
Any suggestions will be gratefully received. I can give someone the login if that is easier.

I found the solution myself and am posting it here:
Go to customise >>header builder>> Design>> Unlink Margin values, and put minus the exact gap in pixels for bottom margin only, so it closes the gap. Before, I had not known to unlink the values, so editing in there, automatically put the same pixel values into all margins, top, bottom left and right, which totally corrupted the margins.
you can close this question. thanks
