How to remove home slider, and footer

Building another one-page site, this time using Influence. I’ve set the home slider to ‘none’, but there’s nowhere to save it, so it keeps coming back. How do I stop it?

How do I remove the ‘Theme by SiteOrigin’ at the bottom?

    Thanks for reaching out.

    The footer attribution can be removed by activating the No Attribution addon in SiteOrigin Premium.

    Thanks for letting us know about the slider, issue. I’ll take a look. In the meantime, at CustomizeTheme SettingsHome Page, select Demo Slider and then remove the shortcode and save, that’ll remove the slider.
