Hi,
I wanted to know how can I put different CPT on homepage using your pagebuilder?
At the moment, I am creating widgets per CPT and putting divs and such to match the layout that I am after. Is there any other easier way?
Another thing is, if my layout is like this;
How can I use the pagebuilder on each full background without using another page?
Hoping someone can shed some light on this :)
Thanks!
Hi Sanjay
Are you asking how you can create pre-built layouts that can be bundled with a theme?
Do you have a link to an example so I can see visually what you’re trying to explain?
Thanks
Hi Andrew,
I think that’s how you call it, pre-built layouts.
Here’s one sample http://bradleywebgroup.com/construction3/
Basically, after the slider it’s all on pagebuilder. But they are CPT and I created a widget so I can use the pagebuilder on home page.
I wanted to know what is the best way to do this?
Thanks!
This is how Pre-Built Layouts look in their basic form, just cloning pages that you’ve built already:
https://siteorigin.com/page-builder/documentation/prebuilt-layouts/
When we eventually launch Page Builder 2.0 we’ll have a full set of dev documentation but for now here is Greg on the topic:
https://siteorigin.com/thread/programmatically-define-prebuilt-page-layouts/
So in that way you could prepare layouts for a template, like a team page or a home page etc.
Hope that helps.
Thanks Andrew, will definitely check that out!
Super – hope it helps.
