How to put a background image such that it covers multiple rows

7 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 7 years ago

Hi All,

I have a situation where I need to develop a section which will have 3 parts i.e. Header Text(Full width, center aligned) + 4 col + 3 col. All would have a background image.

Please see the layout I want to develop in the link below:

Since only row can be divided into multiple columns, I am not sure where to put background image such that all 3 parts could be under one background image.

Is there a way I can include a row inside another row? So that I can put all 3 parts of the layout under 1 background(which will be attached to the parent row.)

parent row(with background image) >> [Text widget + child row(4 col) + child row(3 col)] This will be inside parent row. Is this possible?

Thanks in Advance

    Hi Satyam,

Yes. This is possible by adding a Layout Builder to your rows. To clarify, a layout builder is SiteOrigin Page Builder in widget form so you’ll be able to add rows/columns/widgets to via the widget which in turn allow you to accomplish what you’re after.
