How to place images in a lightbox with Page Builder

I saw similar questions before but the answers didn’t quite help me, maybe because I don’t know much about this and might need a more detailed explanation, so I’m starting this thread. I’m creating a new website and I want the images within my posts to be clickable and open in a lightbox. At the moment when I place an image in my article and post it, it’s simply not clickable. I love using page builder and learning how to fix this would really help me! Thanks.

    Hi Mayra,

Okay so to do this you’ll need to install a plugin like Easy FancyBox. Once installed, navigate to WP AdminSettingsMedia and ensure Enable FancyBox for Images is ticked.

Scroll down to the Images section and ensure Apply to is set to All Image links.

Save. Please open up a page where you wish to add a lightbox for. Now please open the widget that has the images added and set each image’s Destination URL to the direct URL of the image. Save. How does that look?

For an example, here’s what the SiteOrigin Simple Masonry widget looks when I’ve set it up to work with Easy Fancybox.

Here’s what the SiteOrigin Image widget looks like:
